Most airlines state that frogs cannot be carried on planes as hand luggage. If you do this, you invalidate the conditions of your ticket and the airline may refuse to carry you. You can just turn up and ask at the gate, but the staff may well refuse to allow the frogs on board. If you smuggle frogs on planes and get caught, the consequences may be serious.
To cross any national borders with frogs, make sure you have all the correct paperwork. What you'll need depends on the species involved and the countries they're going to/from/through.
Dendrobatidae Nederland organises two "Frogdays" each
year, one in spring and one in autumn. These are held at various locations in
the Netherlands
and are the best (and cheapest) source of frogs and all things frog-related
in Europe. These are open to non-members for a small fee (a few Euros). Dates
and locations are published on the Society website: http://www.dendrobatidae.org/

If you have a large collection of frogs, keeping them all in one place saves a lot of time. It's also easier to control the temperature of one room rather than lots of individual vivaria. The most important factor is how hot the room/shed/garage gets in summer rather than how could it get in winter. Heating is cheaper and simpler than air-conditioning. Running water and a sink is a great idea for a frogroom.
Unless you have froglets less then one month old, you can easily
leave frogs on their own for up to a week. Put lights (and misters if you have
them) on
timers. Feed frogs before you go and when you get back, but don't overdo it.
If you'll be away for longer than a week, adult frogs can be left for up to
a fortnight, but the ideal solution is either to get a knowledgeable frogger
to come in and feed them, or board them out with a frogkeeping friend. Translucent
plastic storage boxes are ideal for this. It's NOT a good idea to get someone
who knows nothing about frogs to come in while you're away unless you spend
some time instructing them before you go.
Some people make "holiday culture" of flies which they place in the
vivarium while they are away. Make sure the frogs cannot get trapped in the
container.
1.0.0 = 1 male
0.1.0 = 1 female
0.0.1 = 1 unsexed
How long does it take to look after frogs? How many frogs do you have? How long is a piece of string? It takes almost the same amount of work to look after two frogs as it does to look after one (unless they start breeding!).
